In this masterclass you will learn  the most important topics about the PBR concept for gamedev you always wanted to know about but didn’t know where to start or just were afraid to ask.

What sets this masterclass apart?

That’s a very good question! This course has no irrelevant useless “water” just for the sake of making it longer. It’s tightly packed with only useful and hands-on information about things you will definitely need to understand about PBR rendering for games (and not only games) the most. I wish I had this kind of source of knowledge or a course at my hands back in those days where I started my career in gamedev so that I don’t have to go over tons of irrelevant information that would just rather mess everything up in my head instead of clearing it up. I value your time, and won’t artificially spend days and weeks of your time on something that might be packed into roughly an hour or two of intense masterclass. No boring hours or even weeks studying something you might not even need – that’s why I’ve condensed the crucial knowledge you will need for your early career success. Join me now and fast-track your game development journey!

Who this masterclass is aimed for?

This masterclass is mainly aimed for beginner as well as for more experienced 3D artists who want to break into Gamedev industry and already have some basic understanding of 3D concepts such as texturing, rendering, as well as having some basic knowledge of any major DCC Tool such as 3Ds Max, Maya or Blender. But even if you’re not a beginner I’m sure you might learn many cool tricks and find out more about the tool.

Which software will be used/shown during the lecture?

All PBR workflows and examples will be shown mainly using latest version of Marmoset Toolbag. Though you won’t be required to follow along during the lecture, you can download the latest free 30 day trial version of Marmoset Toolbag here.

Will I be able to ask my questions?

Of course! There will be a live Q&A session at the end of the lecture where all attendees will be able to ask all of their hot questions and engage directly with the presenter. Don’t miss this opportunity to ask things you always wanted to know about but didn’t know who to ask!

I purchased this lecture, what’s next?

These lectures take place two times a month, usually on Thursdays at 19:00 CET (Prague time). So after you’ve made a purchase, you will be added to the nearest online event. Once you’ve been added – you will receive an invite notification to the nearest lecture which will be held via Zoom platform.

For now the maximum number of people attending online lectures is limited to 5 people per lecture as attendees should have enough time for their questions at the end of the lecture. In case of live physical events in schools, universities and similar facilities, the number of attendees might be significantly larger of course.

How long does this lecture approximately take?

This is a one time lecture lasting approximately for an hour with an additional half an hour for Questions and Answers
