This is the Sci-Fi futuristic version of iconic Czech Tatra T3 tram model which I modelled from scratch in 3D Studio Max and rendered in Octane Render Standalone

As a true fan of Czech trams, I thought it would be cool to make a short video using traditional 3D CG workflows as a tribute to absolutely fantastic Museum of Public Transport in Prague which you just MUST visit if you’re a true Tram-fan like me smiley

This is a non-commercial project which I did just for fun during my usual weekend 3D workouts smiley

Here are a few images and videos showing creation process

So just the brief info. I shot the whole sequence on my iphone in 4K/24fps, the camera tracking was done in SynthEyes, which I find quite fantastic by the way. Modeling was done in 3D Studio Max, compositing – in Adobe AfterEffects, and then I just imported all the tracked data and the model to Autodesk Maya where I rendered the whole sequence using Maya’s native Arnold which is also great from all perspectives!
